AN ORDINANCE AL1211MING SECTION 78OF ARTICLE II Ci .LTER III
PART I OF TEE MIUNICIi'AL CODE OF THE CITY OF GI:LROY, RELATIVE TO
BONDS OF OFFICERS.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy, do
ordain as follows:
Section l: That Section 78 of Article II Chapter III
Part of the 1ru.nicipal Code of the City of Gilroy be, and the same
is hereby ameAded to read as follows:-
SECTION 78:
The City Clerk, Marshal and Ex- officio Tax Collector,
Treasurer, Superintendent of Mater erorks and Policemen, shall give
bonds in the following penal sums:
1st: The City Clerk in the penal sum prescribed in the Charter
which shall cover all his duties as Clerk and EX- officio Assessor,
2nd. The City 1larshal in the penal sum of 5000. , which
shall cover all his duties as 1 +Marshal, Ex- officio Tax Collector,
License Collector and Street Commissioner,
3rd. The City Treasurer in the penal sum of
Section 2.11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after the first day of June 1916,
