STATEMENTS AND MAPS FILED PURSUANT TO SECTION
54900, ET. SEQ., OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Gilroy;
WHEREAS, the State Board of Equalization has imposed the
following fees on the City of Gilroy effective July 1, 1974,
to offset costs for supplying, maintaining and revising tax
area maps, and
WHEREAS, such costs should be borne by those benefitting
from such services, and not the City of Gilroy,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that applicants, proponents

a) "Reorganization" includes any single action that
involves two or more cities, districts, or zones

involves whole cities, districts, or zones and does
not result in a consolidation or merger, the total
processing fee shall be $20 per city, district, or
zone involved.
b) The fees in Section 20f this schedule are based on
the concept that any given action is confined to a
single county. If more than One county is involved,
add $50 for the second and each additional county
involved.
c) Maximum Fees. No single fee shall exceed $3,000.
