Resolution 1276 RESOLUTION NO. 1276 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FIRST AMENDATORY GRANT AGREEMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California (herein called the "Applicant"), has heretofore submitted an application to the United States of America, act- ing by and through the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (herein ca 11 ed the "Government"), for a grant under Sect i on 702 of the Hous i ng and Urban Development Act of 1965, for the purposes designated in the said ap- pI ication; and WHEREAS, the Government has approved the said application subject to certain conditions and has submitted to the Applicant a First Amendatory Grant Agreement (herein called the "Grant Agreement"), for approval and execu- tion by the Applicant, which said Grant Agreement is satisfactory, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the Appli- cant that the said Grant Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, be and the same is hereby approved. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the said Grant Agreement in the name and on behalf of the Appli- cant, in as many counterparts as may be necessary, and the City Clerk is here- by authorized and directed to affix or impress the official seal of the Appli- cant thereon and to attest the same. The proper officer is directed to for- ward the said executed counterparts of the said Grant Agreement to the Govern- ment, together with such other documents evidencing the approval and authori- zation to execute the same as may be required by the Government.
