Resolution 1295 RESOLUTION NO. 1295 RESOLUTION EXTENDING CONTRACT FOR WEED ABATEMENT WITH Co J 0 SIMMS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gilroy contracted with C. J. SIMMS on January 5, 1968, for said contractor to perform all services necessary for the abatement and eradication of undesirable vegetation on property within the City of Gilroy, for the period commencing January 1, 1968, and ending on December 31, 1968, on the terms and conditions set forth in said contract, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend said agreement for an additional year commencing on January 1, 1969, and ending on December 31, 1969, upon the same terms and conditions as are contained in said contract dated January 5, 1968. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of Gilroy, that the City declares, subject to the approv~l and acceptance by said Contractor, that the contract dated January 5, 1968, by and between the City of Gilroy, a municipal corporation, and C. J. Sirmns as contractor, for the abatement and eradication of undesirable vegetation within the city limits of Gilroy, is hereby extended, for an additional year commencing January 1, 1969, and ending December 31, 1969, upon the same terms and conditions as in the original contract between the parties.
