Resolution 1098 " -Ii .~ RESOLUTION NO. 1098 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF PARCEL A IN THE SUM OF $3,410.00 NORTH CHURCH STREET EXTENTION PROJECT 1966-1 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California, that WHEREAS, John E. Lynch of the law firm of Wilson, Jones Morton & Lynch attorneys of record for said City in that certain action entitled, "CITY OF GILROY v. REFUGIA GOMEZ, ET AL.", filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Santa Clara, Action No. U32570, has effected a proposed settlement as to Parcel A for the sum of $3,410.00 for the taking of the estate and interest more particularly described in the com- plaint filed in the above entitled action. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED that said law firm be, and it is hereby authorized to effect settlement as aforesaid for said Parcel A, and to execute and deliver in behalf of said City all documents, of every kind and nature, necessary or convenient to accomplish this purpose. IT IS FURTHER FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED that the City Treasurer of the City of Gilroy is authorized and hereby directed to draw his warrant in the sum of $l,22.0.00, payable to the Santa Clara County Clerk, said sum being the difference between the agree award aforesaid and the amount of the security deposit for said parcel already on deposit with the Clerk of the Court, and to deliver said warrant to the said attorneys of record, 630 North San Mateo Drive, San Mateo, California. * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolutdon duly passed and adopted by the City /()98 " Council of the City of Gilroy, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 20th day of March , 1967, by the followin vote of the members thereof: AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmerobers: Allemand, Duffin,Eckard,Geedrich,Wentworth, and Petersen.
