"_ Jlj;j;'~ "m:'. ._"il:""';;;':';"~.Ac"""""'-''''.'''''''.'''''-~. .--."'., ",.."""'.........."........"."r< RESOLUTION NO. 958 ....-- RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED IN THE PROCEEDINGS .AS "NORTHWEST ANNEXATION 65-1 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" WHEREAS, a petition has heretofore been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Gilroy for the annexation of territory therein described as "Northwest Annexation 65-1 to the City of Gilroy"; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy did heretofore and on the 16th day of August, 1965, adopt Resolution No. ~ deter- mining that the said annexation peition was signed by all of the owners of property constituting the area proposed to be annexed, and fixing Tuesday, the 7th day of September, at the hour of 8 otclock, p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, No. 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for the hearing of said petition; and WHEREAS, notice of the said hearing has been given in accord- ance with law, and the said Council has now held the said hearing and no one a peared to protest against the annexation of the said territory; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered and the Council does hereby find that no protest~ were filed or made against the said annexation and the said Council does so declare. PASSED AND ADOPTED ~ediately following the hearing mentioned in the above Resolution, this 7th day of Septanber, 1965, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: A II emand, Duff in.
