Resolution 845 RESOLUTION NOo 845 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES OF THE SANTA CLARA VALLEY UNIFORM HEATING AND COMFORT COOLING CODE OF 1961, PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION OF FEES, ISSUANCE OF PERMITS BY THE CITY OF GILROY. WHEREAS, the City of Gi lroy presently rei ies upon the State Housing Code to provide for the safe installation of heating and cooling appliances and appurtenances, and; WHEREAS, said State Housing Code does not provide nor out- 1 ine any permit and inspection fees and; WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy has in the past provided this service at no cost while the general municipal practice does require such minimum fees to reimburse the municipality for its expense incurred in processing such permits and and installation inspections, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED, that henceforth the City of Gilroy shall re- quire the following Permit and Inspection Fees covering heating and cool- ing installation within the City of Gilroy; PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES For issuing each permit - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For each gas outlet - - - - - - - For each unit or recessed heater For each floor furnace - - - - For each central furnace- - - - - - - - - For each air inlet, outlet or diffuser- For each heat pump or air conditioner, three tons For each heat pump or air conditioner, over three For each blower 1 H.P. or over of any ventilating For each blower less than I H.P.- - - - - - For each hood (Commercial)- - - - - - - - - - - - Re-Inspection Fee - - - - - - - - - - - - - -$ 2.00 .50 1.00 1.00 2.00 .25 2.00 3000 2.00 1.00 1.00 2.50 or 1 ess tons- - sys tem- - - PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of July , 1964 by the fol- lowing vote: AYES: NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS:Duffin,Goodrich,Jordan,Quartiroli, Wentworth, and Petersen.
