RESOLUTION NO. 84 - 52
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING THE BUDGET
FOR SAID CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984-1985 AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED
EXPENDITURES FOR PURPOSES SET FORTH IN BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to
the City Council a budget for the City of Gilroy for the fiscal year
1984-1985, and said Council has carefully examined and considered the
same; and
WHEREAS, the said Council did thereafter fix the 18th day of
June, 1984, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. as the time, at the
Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy,
California, a':ld place for a Public Hearing on said proposed budget
and caused a notice thereof to be published not less than ten (10)
days prior to the hearing, the Gilroy-Morgan Eill Dispatch in accor-
dance with Section 1102 of the City Charter and had copies of said
proposed budget available for inspection by the public in the office
of the City Clerk at least ten (10) days prior to the said hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the said proposed budget as finally revised provides
for anticipated revenue totalling $16,546,730.00 besides anticipated
unexpended balances existing in various funds on June 30, 1984,
amounting to $8,005,303.00 and anticipated expenditures totalling
$17,142.533.00 and said budget is now before the Council for adoption
and said Council is satisfied with said budget as finally revised.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that
said proposed budget including the anticipated revenues, expenditures
and unappropriated surpluses, as revised, be and the same is hereby
appropriated and adopted as the budget of the City of Gilroy for the
fiscal year 1984-1985 and that a certified copy of said adopted

budget shall be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk and
be available for the individuals and agencies and organizations as
specified in Section 1103 of the Charter; and
BE IT FURTHER RESODVED that from the effective date of the
budget, the several amounts stated therein as proposed expenditures
shall be and become appropriated to the several offices, agencies and
departments for the respective objects and purpose therein specified.

hereby certify that the attached Resolution No. 84-52 is an

Gilroy at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 18th
