RESOLUTION NO. 88-8 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE ALL OR PART OF A 35 FOOT ROAD AND UTILITIES EASEMENT AT THE FRONT OF A PARCEL ON THE NORTH SIDE OF HECKER PASS HIGHWAY EAST OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH KELTON DRIVE, AND ALL OR PART OF A 24 FOOT ROAD AND UTILITIES EASEMENT ALONG THE NORTHERLY REAR BOUNDARY OF THE SAME PARCEL. WHEREAS. all or part of a 35 foot road and utilities easement at the front of a parcel on the North side of Hecker Pass Highway east of its intersection with Kelton Dirve, and all or part of a 24 foot road and utilities easement along the Northerly rear boundary of the same parcel are unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes and should be vacated. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Gilroy that it does hereby declare its intention to vacate all or part of a 35 foot road and utilities easement at the front of a parcel on the North side of Hecker Pass Highway East of its intersection with Kelton Drive, and all or part of a 24 foot road and ut1ities easement along the Northerly rear boundary of the same parcel as are precisely shown on a map on file in the Department of Public Works. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be published and said rights of way posted as required in the Public Streetst Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law under which this proceeding is institutedi and 8:00 p.m., March 7, 1988, in the Council Chambers. City Hall, 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, is hereby designated as the time and place at which said City Council shall hear any and all persons RESOLUTION NO. 88~8 ... . . interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. One publication of said notice shall be made in the Gilroy Dispatch, a newspaper published in the City of Gilroy, at a date at least ten (10) days prior to the time of hearing.
