Resolution 1990-37 :: . . RESOLUTION NO. 90 - 37 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY COMMENDING SERVICES OF JOSEPH A. ROMEO FIRE CAPTAIN UPON HIS RETIREMENT WHEREAS, Joseph A. Romeo, Fire Captain has served the City of Gilroy well in the Fire Department for over two decades; and WHEREAS, Joseph A. Romeo has declared to retire from the City of Gilroy on August 1, 1990; and WHEREAS, Captain Joseph A. Romeo has faithfully served the City of Gilroy as an employee of the Gilroy Fire Department since March 31, 1969; and WHEREAS, during his long period of public safety service to his community, always performed his duties conscientiously, honestly and with the best interests of the City of Gilroy; and WHEREAS, Joseph A. Romeo has always been a helpful and willing employee; and WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportunity to commend Joseph A. Romeo's outstanding, conscientious, dedicated, loyal service to the City of Gilroy and to the community-at-large. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council does hereby commend and honor Joseph A. Romeo for his conscientious and faithful service during his tenure with the City of Gilroy. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby extend our best wishes to Captain Joseph A. Romeo and his family for continued success and happiness in all of his future endeavors.
