RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 75
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING 1994 SALARY
SCHEDULES FOR MISCELLANEOUS AND EXEMPT PERSONNEL.
WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for city officers and
employees by resolution; and
WHEREAS, A Memorandum of Understanding currently has been negotiated
between the City and the bargaining units for Miscellaneous Personnel and the
Supervisory Miscellaneous Personnel at a salary increase of Two percent, effective
July 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City to increase salaries for Exempt
Personnel at two percent in accordance with the increase for the Miscellaneous
bargaining unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salaries for 1994 for Exempt, and
Miscellaneous personnel as set forth in the attached schedules consisting of eight
(8) pages, are hereby approved and established and effective on July 1, 1994.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GILROY, KLOECKER, MORALES, ROGERS, ROWLISON,
VALDEZ and GAGE.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None

Clerical Salary Schedule

Police Records Technicians I & II, Parking Enforcement Officers, Police Records Supervisors,
Crime Prevention Technicians and Community Service Officers receive $375.00 per year
uniform allowance.
Police Records Supervisor, Public Safety Communications Supervisor, Police Records
Technicians, and Public Safety Communicator I & II assigned to work holidays receive 5.06%
holiday pay.
/.5% Educational Incentive available for 30 college Semester Units in excess
of educational requirements for their job.
3% Educational Incentive available for 60 College Semester Units in excess
of educational requirements for their job.
2.5% Bilingual based on City's needs,
Effective with the employees hired on or after July I, 1991, educational incentive
pay shall be paid only for units earned after their hire by the City.
