ORD:LNANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY Al\1ENDIN G SECTION NO. 71 OF ORD-
INANCE NO. 480 OF SAID CITY RELATING TO THE REGULATION AND CON-
TROL OF TRAFFIC UPON PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF GILROY BY
PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL STOP INTERSECTION.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Section No. 71 of Ordinance No. 480 of the
City of Gilroy shall be and is hereby amended by adding a new
subdivision thereto to be known as Subdivision 11, to read as
follows:
11: On Fifth Street at both East and West entrances at
its intersection with Eigleberry Street, stopping both Eastbound
and Westbound traffic at Fifth Street and on Eigleberry Street
on both North and South entrances to the said intersection
stopping both North bound and Southbound traffic at Fifth
Street. .
SECTION II: The Chief Administrative Officer of the City
of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause to be erected and put
in place stop signs at the said street intersection in ac~ord-
ance with Section 30 of the said Ordinance No. 480.
SECTION III: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage and approval.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 7th day of September, 1954, by
the following vote:
