AN ORDINANCE A1ffirIDING ORDINANCE NO. 372 OF THE CITY OF GILROY,
RELATIVE TO THE SPEED OF LOCOMOTIVES AND TRA.INS IN THE CITY OF
GILROY BY REDUCING THE SPEED TO 25 MILES PER HOUR.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do
ordain as follows, to-wit:
Section 1
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 372 of the City of Gilroy shall be
amended to read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any engineer, fire-
man, brakeman, conductor or other person having any train or
railroad cars, or any part or section of any such train, or
any railroad locomotive, or any engine under his Charge, con-
trol or direction, in whole or in part, to run such train,
section of train, locomotive or engine, or cause the same to
be run on any railroads within the corporate limits of the
City of Gilroy at a speed exceeding twenty-five (25) miles
per hour.
Section 11
All ordinance and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section III
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on and
after its passage and approval.
