Ordinance 566 - :\ '. . d" - ORDINANCE NO. 566 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 422, OF THE CITY OF GILROY BY REZONING TERR:fTORY FROM ZONE "E" DISTRICT TO ZONE "B" DISTRICT. THE COM1[ON C0UNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL OV'lS : Section 1. That the following described premises in the said City of Gilroy now located in Zone "E" District, as the same is described and defined in Ordinance No. 422 of the City of Gilr0Y, are hereby removed fr0m said district and placed in Zone liB" Dis trict , to-wit: . BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the line dividing Sublot No. 8 and Sublot No. 7 as shown on Map No. 8 accompanying the final report of the referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition Action in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Santa Clara, entitled Henry Miller et al., Plaintiffs vs Massey Thomas et al.. Defendants, Action No. 553p, and the Westerly line of the premises of Hornbeek, running thence along the boundary line between the said Sublots 8 and 7 and betw~n said Sublots 8 and 6 to the North- easterly corner of the premises of the 4.951 acres of land conveyed Qy Angelo Mangano to Gilroy Union High School District; thence in a Southeasterly direction along the Northeasterly line of said 4.951 acre tract of land so conveyed to Gilroy Union High School District to the center line of I.O.O.F. Avenue; thence in a Southwesterly direc- tion along the center line of said I.O.O.F. Avenue to its intersection with the North- westerly p~olongation of the Northeasterly line of Lot 1 of Tract 1051, Walnut Orchard Park Tract; thence along said prol~ngation and the said Northeasterly line of Lot ~ and the Northeasterly line of Lot 14 of';) said Subdivision to the Northwesterly corner of Lot 15 of said Subdivision; thence in a Northeasterly dire~tion along the Northwesterly line of said Lot 15 and Lot 16 in said Tract No. 1051, Walnut Orchard Park Tract, to the most northerly .J) /-';~~ // /' , " ) /:; / ,-:-:> ~~. 1...(."- corner of said Lot 16, said point being in the Westerly boundary line of the premises of Radin; thence along the Westerly boundary line of the said pre- mises of Radin to its intersection with the line dividing the premises of Radin and Piedmont; thence in a Northeasterly direction along the line dividing the premises of Radin and Piedmont to the Westerly line of the premises of Horn- beck; thence in a Northwesterly direction along the said Westerly line of the pre- mises of Hornbeck to the point of begin- ning. Reference is hereby had to the maps and general zoning ordinance of the City of Gilroy now on file in the office of the City Clerk. Section 2. The boundaries of said "E" District and said "B" District are hereby changed in accordance with and to conform to this ordinance and the map constituting a part of the said "Zoning Ordinance No. 422", of the City of Gilroy, in said Ordinance and therein referred to shall be made to conform to the changes herein set forth. ADOPTED AND PASSED this 3rd day of March, 1958 by the following vote. AYES: Councilmen Pate,Petersen,Rush, Wentworth, Gallo, and Sanchez.
