TO VACATE FOREST STREET, BETWEEN lOCI' AVENUE AND SWANSTON LANE:

S!X:TION ONE: The){qor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy
do hereby' declare their intention to vacate a certain street, public alley, or
thoroughtare in the said City of Gilroy, particularl3 described as tollow, to wit:
All that portion ot Forest Street in the
City ot Gilroy, lying between lOOF Avenue.
and Swanston Iane.
In the 'Vacation of said street, the City' of Gilroy shall and does
hereby' reserve and except the permanent easement and right at any time or frOll
time to time to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew sanitary'
and other sewers and drain and water pipe lines and storm. dnains in, upon, over
and across the part of said street proposed to be vacated, and pursuant to 8ZIT
franchise thereot or renewals thereot or otherwise, to construct, operate, main-
tain, replace, rem.ove, renew and enlarge lines of pipes, conduits, cables, wires,
poles aM other convenient structures, equipaent, and fixtures for the operaticn
of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, and far the transportation
or distribution of electrical energy and water.
S!X:TION TWO: This ordinance shall be published and said street
posted as required in the Street Vacation Act of 1941, under which this proceeding
is instituted, and the 15th day of September, 1958, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., at the
Common Council chambers, in the Wheeler Municipal Auditorium, in the CitY' of Gilroy,
COunty of Santa Clara, State of California, is hereby' designated as the time and
place at which said Camaon Council shall hear 8ZIT and all persons interested in or
who may object to the proposed 'Vacation. One publication of this ordinance shall
be made in the Gilroy EYening Dispatch, a newspaper published in the said City ot
Gilroy, at a date at least ten (lO)days prior to the said time of hearing.
