ORDINANCE NO. 864
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING SECTION
17.3(c) OF THE CITY CODE SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR SPECIAL
HOLIDAYS BY PROCLAMATION OR RESOLUTION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS ~
SECTION I. Sec. 17.3(c) of the Gilroy City Code is adopted
to read as follows:
Sec. 17.3(c) Legal Holidays.
Every day proclaimed by the Mayor as a holiday,
after such proclamation by the President, the
Governor or by resolution of the city council,
shall be a holiday for such city personnel and
on such terms as to compensating time off or
holiday pay as may be specified in such pro-
clamation or resolution.
SECTION II. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1969, by the
following vote:
