ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY PRE. ZONING
A 31.053 ACRE PARCEL ADJOINING THE CITY OF
GILROY ON THE WEST SIDE OF SAN YSIDRO AVENUE
BETWEEN LEAVESLEY ROAD AND LAS ANIMAS AVENUE
AS Mi (LIMITED INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT
WHEREAS, J. FILICE & SONS, LTD., has heretofore
filed with the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy
petition Z83-4 in due form requesting the prezoning of a
31.053 acre parcel as M1 (Limited Industrial) District; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Gilroy has given due notice of a public hearing upon the said
application, in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Gilroy, has held the hearing, has approved a Negative
Declaration after an initial study under the California
Environmental Quality Act, and has made its report to the
Council of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that the
31.053 acre parcel hereinafter described be prezoned as shown
in the application and as set forth above; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has fixed
the 10th day of October, 1983, at the hour of 8:00 o~clock p.m.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California, as the time and place for hearing the said
report and recommendation upon the said application, the evidence
presented, has approved the Negative Declaration under the
California Environmental Quality Act, and has determined that
the said Zoning Ordinance should be amended in accordance with
the report of the said Planning Commission.
ORDINANCE NO. 83-19
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Gilroy is hereby amended by prezoning to become effective upon
annexation and placing in MI District as shown in the applica-
tion and as the same is described and defined in the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, the following described
premises:
All that property located in the County
of Santa Clara, State of California,
described as follows:
That 31.053 acre parcel on the west side
of San Ysidro Avenue between Leavesley
Road and Las Animas Avenue, being'Santa
Clara County Assessor's Parcel 835-04-043.
Section 2: The official map constituting a part of
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy shall be amended to
reflect the foregoing changes of classification of the said
property.
Section 3: Ail ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and
approval, and upon annexation of said property to the City of
Gitroy.
