Gilroy, Cal. July 21st, 1920.
The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council of July 6th~
was called to order by His Honor Jas. Princevalle.
Present Councilmen Brown, Chesbro, Martin, Radtke, Schemel,
Absent COtmcilman Ilester.
The object o~ this meeting was ~or the purpose o~
opening bids for furnishing water meters.
Motion by C. w. Scheme 1, seconded by Wm. Radtke and
carried: That we proceed to open the bids.
Three bids were presented accompanied by the proper
certified checks as follows:

It was orllered that the bids be taken under advisement
by the Council.
By motion of H. ~!. Martin duly seconded and carried,
it was ordered that the band be allowed $100.00 per month
commencing with July 1st.
Motion by Wm. Radtke, seconded and carried: That Ray
Burgess be allowed $185.00 per month apportioned as follows:
$50.00 Fire Department, $60.00 Sewer Department, and $75.00
Water Department.
