The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Counoil of
Maroh 7th was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Prinoe-
Talle.
Present Counoilmen Chas. H. Pierce, C. E. Fredrickson,
Jerome Chappell, Elmer J. Chesbro; Absent Councilen E. Mar-
tin Johnson, Gerald Hecker.

and carried:
L. H. Colm lfas granted a permit to install an
electric advertising clock on the Albert Carrey Building.
The Clerk was instructed to notif'y Mary F. Fowler that her
request f'or apermit to erect rrame cottages on herIot f'or
camp ground purposes could not be granted as fire proof' con-
struction lfithin the rire limits would be necessary.
The Fire Dept. Connlli ttee was directed to haTe the Marshal
notify A. J. Crowell that two small buildings erected by him
without permits must be torn do\rn.
Motion by Chesbro seconded by Chappell and carriedl nlat a
warrant in the amount of $ 50.00 be ordered dra\m on the
treasury in f'avor or the Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau to as-
sist in the erection of' a rire warning lookout station on
Loma Prieta.
Motion by Fredrickson seconded by Pierce and carried: That
a warrant in the amount of' $ 250 .00 be drawn in ravor of' the
Building

The Clerk was instructed to notiry the Coast Counties Gas
and Electric Co. to remove certain light poles on Forest
street, between Martin and Lewis streets from the roadway to
inside the curb line.
