Gilroy, Calif. July 22nd, 1929.
The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council of
July 17th, 1929, was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas.
Princevalle.
Present Councilmen Walter G. Fitzgerald, E. Martin John-
son, C. E. FDedrickson, John A. Clark, Irvin HOllister, Elmer
J. Chesbro; Absent Councilmen None.

This being the time for the City Engineer to furnish re-
port on the protests, the attorney for the protestants requested
that the Engineer take oath as to the testimony he was to give
and the request was complied with.
Motion by Fitzgerald, duly seconded and carried: That
further consideration of the protests be continued until Wed-
nesday night, July 24th, 1929.

Motion by Fitzgerald, seconded by Fredrickson and carried:
That bid of John Riksheim for alterations and repairs at Fire
House be accepted and that check be returned to Wm. Radtke.

The matter of the culvert on North Monterey Street, near
l.O.O.F. Avenue referred to the Street Committee.
