The regular meeting of the Common Council is called to order
by His Honor Mayor S.D.Heok.
Present Counoilman George Milias,Jr.,J.H.Rush,Nat Heiner,George
Mason,H.L.Wilkinson.
Absent Counollman: None.
Minutes of the meeting of June 7th are read and approved.
Mr.A.J.Raisch appears before the Council to discuss the Old
Gilroy Street paving job.
Mr.Raisoh agrees to scarify the pavement,roll it and put it in
oondition satisfactory to the Mayor and Common Counoil the expense
of this work to be borne entirely by the A.J.Raisch Co.
Should this work require the placing of additional rock or
screenings the City is to be oharged for this material.
Motion by Counoilman Rpsh seconded by Councilman Wilkinson and
oarried that upon receipt of a letter satisfactory to the Common
Council embodying the agreement made verbally before the Council
by Mr.A.J.Raisch,the Clerk is authorized to draw a check ~nrthe
G1ty-!rz,~asurer for $'l500.00,without waiving any of the City's
rights and to insist on striot performanoe of the contract accord-
ing to its terms.
Reports of the Fire Marshal,the Librarian and the County Health
department are read and ordered placed on file.
Reports of various Ci'ty' officeI"l;! are read and ordered plaoed on
file.
Motion by Councilman Milias,seconded by Councilman Heiner that
the services of Raymond W.Fisher,City Engineer,be and they are
hereby dispensed with and the Cle~k is directed to so notify him.

Motion by Councilman Reiner, seconded by Councilman Rush and
carried that the application of Low Dan to build an apple dryer
on South Eigleberry st. be denied.

Motion by Councilman Milias,seconded by Councilman Wilkinson
and carried that $5000.00 be transferred from the Water Fund to
the General Fund.
Motion by Counoilman Wilkinson,seconded by Councilman Milias
and carried that the salary of Irving otto be inoreased $5.00
per month,commencing July 1st.
Motion by Councilman Rush,seconded by Councilman Heiner and
carried that bills as presented be allowed and warrants ordered
drawn on the Treasury.
