Motion by Councilman i.ason,seconded by ;ouncilrzan Stout and carried
that Traffic Officer James Sturla services be terminated as of tonight,
1,11arch 19, 1951, that he be paid salary. .td ,Larch 20' 195l'-plus.- termination
pay of -,two meeks plus accru6d -vacation pap..
'Motion by Counc iI nan Pate,seconded by �;ounc ilman Stout and carried
that Police Officer Dan Lemos be appointed Traffic Officer,effective
l,iarch 20,1951 at a monthly salary of 4 ?295.00 per rlonth.
The C;leirk is instructed to advise the Sheriff that the city will
take care of all radio calls at the local sub - station during the
day time hours and'relay.same to the Sheriffts office, cruise car if
the Sheriff will provide an operator for the radio at the sub-
station from 2 o'clock A.H. to 8 o'clock A.I;I.to dispatch messages to
their cars and to the city police car.
The matter of erlployees working for the :street and Sever Departments
is placed in the hands of the :street Committee for investigation and
re cgnmendation.

that Councilman 'Dale D.Daniels be granted permission to absent himself
from the State from J. arch 25,1951 to Pl- 10,1951.
