Councilwoman Rowlison and carried that Ordinance No. 93-5 be
adopted approving Z 92-08, prezoning from County Agriculture and
Highway Commercial) to C3-PUD (Shopping Center Commercial-Planned
Unit Development) District on approximately 16.5 acres, and
rezoning from Agriculture (A1) to C3-PUD (Shopping Center
Commercial-Planned Unit Development) District on approximately
1.5 acres, located on the east side of San Ysidro Avenue, north
of Leavesley Road at Arroyo Circle Interchange. (Glen Loma

At 7:10 p.m. Fire Chief Gillespie gave the Fire Depart-
mental Report further explained by Assistant Fire Chief Pavao.
At 7:55 p.m. the Mayor reconvened the meeting.
The Deputy City Attorney explained the need for adoption of
a resolution ordering judicial foreclosure on a parcel for
failure to pay reassessment installments in Las Animas Technology
Park Assessment District.
Motion was made by Councilman Kloecker seconded by Council-
man Valdez that the reading of Resolution No. 93-11 be waived and
that it be adopted as recommended.

The Mayor called upon Alice Dufresne Reyes, Healthy Start
Coordinator, Gilroy Unified School District.
Ms. Alice Dufresne Reyes, Healthy Start Coordinator, Gilroy
Unified School District, addressed the Council requesting support
for Gilroy Healthy Start Collaborative Program.
Motion was made by Councilman Kloecker seconded by
Councilwoman Rowlison and carried that Staff prepare a letter in
support of the program as requested.

Noted the Gilroy Gang Task Force Application for Funding of
Their Youth Gang Project.
City Administrator Baksa noted Administration wing of City
Hall moved to new quarters and a tour would be available for
Council following the regular meeting.
The Mayor reported on the Gang Task Force sponsored meeting
on February 25, 1993 at South Valley Jr. High School as being
very successful.
Councilman Gilroy requested a list of flooding locations in
regard to the Storm Drain Utility proposed fees.
Councilman Hale reported on the Joint Council (Gil/M.H.)
Meeting with Assemblyman Areias on February 26, 1993.
Councilwoman Nelson gave an update on the State Republican
Central Committee Meeting noting legislation in opposition to
Regional Government.

Councilwoman Rowlison gave an update on the Water Commis-
-sion and -SG-1id waste Conu.ni-?.sion Meetings regarding water rates.
The Mayor noted that Councilman Jack Lucas, representative
on the Traffic Authority, wishes to meet with Councilman Kloecker
for lunch regarding Measure A.
