Anderson, Chief By Sales Clerk Tax Deeded Land Enclosure AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE TAX DEEDED LAND THIS AGREEMENT made on the day of JAN 5 1971 1970, by and between the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, and the City of Gilroy, pursuant to the provisions of Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation Code. W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, the real property situated within the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, hereinafter set forth in Exhibit "A ", attached to and made a part hereof, has been deeded to the State of California for the non - payment of delinquent taxes; and WHEREAS, such deeds to the State for taxes include taxes levied by the City of Gilroy, the taxes of which on the property is collected by the County Officers; NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows: 1. That as provided by Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, the cost of giving notice of this Agreement shall be paid by the City of Gilroy. 2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, agrees to sell to said City of Gilroy, and said City of Gilroy agrees to purchase from said County the parcel of property hereinafter set out in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, which shall not have been redeemed as provided in the4Revenue and Taxation Code, upon payment by said District to the Tax Collector of said County the sums set forth in said exhibit after the description of the property and designated "Purchase Price ", within ten (10) days after this agree- went becomes effective. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused their respective names to be hereunto subscribed and their respective seals to be hereto affixed by their respective officers thereunto duly authorized.
