CERTIFICATE OF CANCELLATION
OF LAND CONSERVATION CONTRACT
NO. 71.147 -001
Pursuant to the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, the
City Council of the City of Gilroy does hereby issue a Certifica-
tion of Cancellation of the fOllowing described contract and
certifies:
1. The County of Santa Clara and Fiorenzo S. Mozzone and
Fiorenza Mozzone entered into a land conservation contract in
accordance with the California Land Conservation Act of 1965.
Such agreement is designated in the records of the county as land
conservation contract number 71.147.001. A copy of such contract
was recorded on February 25, 1971 in Book 9232, at Pages 355-365
of Official Records in the Office of the Recorder of the County of
Santa Clara. Subsequently, the land affected by said contract was
annexed into the City of Gilroy. The land referred to in the
above contract is legally described on Exhibit "A" attached to
this certificate and incorporated herein.
2. On March 16, 1987, the City Council of the City of Gilroy
tentatively approved the cancellation of the above-described

contract subject to the conditions set forth in the certificate of
tentative cancellation dated
March 18, 1987
At the time of
tentative cancellation, Robert Mozzone, Carol Petroni, and Marie
Piumarta were the owners of the land under such contract and
requested the cancellation. Such certificate of tentative
cancellation was recorded on March 30, 1987
3. The following conditions and contingencies set forth in
the certificate of tentative cancellation have been satisfied:
a. Payment in full of the $13,908 cancellation fee
certified by the County Assessor and City Council
as being due pursuant to Government Code section
51283. This fee was paid within one year from the
date of the recording of the certificate of
tentative cancellation.
b. The landowners or their successors in interest
have obtained approval of building plans for the
South Valley Intercommunity Hospital from the
Office of the State Architect and have been issued
a permit by the Office of Statewide Health Planning
and Development to construct said building.
The City Council of the City of Gilroy hereby certifies that
the Land Conservation Contract No. 71.147-001 is cancelled.
