DESCRIPTION OF AN EASEMENT TO BE DEDICATED BY M. J. FILICE, ET AL,
TO THE CITY OF GILROY FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES AT SOUTHEAST CORNER
OF THE WREN AVENUE AND HECKER PASS HIGHWAY INTERSECTION.
BEING a portion of Ranchlot 16 of the Las Animas Rancho as shown on
Map No.7 accompanying the Report of the Referees in the Las Animas
Rancho Partition Suit, Action No. 5536 had in the Superior Court of
the State of California, in and for the County of Santa Clara and
being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the north-easterly corner of that
0.745 acre parcel of land conveyed to Roman Cathol ic
Archbishop of San Francisco, a corporation, by deed
which is filed in the office of the Recorder of the
County of Santa Clara in Book 4465 of deeds at page 299,
thence S 890 00' E., 412.28 feet, thence SOlo 00' W.,
13.00 feet to a point on the southerly line of Hecker
Pass Highway said point being the eastern terminus of
a curve concave to the southeast, having a radius of
40.00 feet, a central angle of 970 00', and being
tangent to a line which bears S 890 00' E from said
point, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING
OF THIS EASEMENT DESCRIPTION; thence, along said tangent
line, S 890 001 E, 20.00 feet; thence SOlo 00' W, 5.00
feet; thence N 890 00' W, 20.00 feet; thence along a
tangent curve concave to the southeast, having a radius
of 35.00 feet, through a central angle of 970 00', a
distance of 59.25 feet; thence, along a radial line,
S 840 001 W, 5.00 feet to a point on the easterly line of
Wren Avenue said point being the most southerly terminus
of a curve concave to the southeast, having a tangent which
bears S 060 E, and a radius of 40.00 feet; thence along
said curve through a central angle of 970 00', a distance
of 67.72 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING THEREIN 0.0096 acres of land.
