GRANT OF EASEMENT
PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT and EMERGENCY VEHICLE ACCESS EASEMENT
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
REAL PROPERTY in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
A Public Utilities Easement (P.U.E.) for any and all Public Service purposes including, but not limited to,
the construction and maintenance of poles, wires, and conduits for storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water,
gas, electric, telephone, television, traffic signal facilities, sidewalks, public utilities, and appurtenances
thereto, and also being an Emergency Vehicle Access Easement (EVAE.) for the ingress and egress of
emergency vehicles, under, on, or over those certain areas designated on the attached "Exhibit B" as
"P.U.E." and "E.VAE.", and described as follows:
Being a portion of Lots 101, 103, 104, 105, 114, 115, 116, 117, and 118 as said Lots are shown on that
certain Map entitled ''Tract 8962 Eagle Ridge Unit 1", which Map was filed for record on November 20,
1997 in Book 696 of Maps at Pages 22 through 45, Official Records of Santa Clara County, California, and
lying within the Private Streets depicted on the attached "Exhibit B" as "Club Drive", "Muirfield Way", and
"Hoylake Court" as constructed, extending 1 0 feet outside the back of the constructed curbs, and
extending 1 0 feet beyond the constructed limits of the Private Streets, including stubbed-out intersections.
This grant of easement shall automatically terminate when a final map is filed in the Office of the Recorder,
County of Santa Clara, State of California which fully depicts the above Easements and Private Streets
and contains an offer of dedication of said Easements to the City of Gilroy. The final map and offer of
dedication shall then supersede and replace this grant of easement.

This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by the grant deed dated May
15, 1998 from Eagle Ridge Development Company LLC, A California Limited Liability
Company, to the City of Gilroy, a municipal corporation of the State of California, is hereby
accepted by the undersigned officer or agent on behalf of the City of Gilroy pursuant to authority
conferred by Resolution No. 97-62 of the City of Gilroy adopted December 1, 1997, a certified
copy of which resolution is on record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa
Clara, State of California, document #13986427, dated December 22, 1997 and the grantee
