Gilroy Unified School District
This is to certify ~at the interest in real property conveyed by the grant deed dated

corporation of the State of California, is hereby accepted by the undersigned office or agent on
behalf of the City of Gilroy pursuant to authority conferred by Resolution No. 97-62 of the City
of Gilroy adopted December 1, 1997, a certified copy of which resolution is on record in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, document
#13986427, dated December 22, 1997 and the grantee consents to recordation thereof by its duly
authorized officer.

RESOLUTION #00/01-23
AUTHORIZATION TO CONVEY STREET DEDICATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Education Code 17556 et. seq. the Board of Education may convey to a
municipal corporation an easement for street dedication without consideration; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Gilroy Unified School District that the property
described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part thereof and located at Luchessa A venue
and Greenfield Drive, be dedicated as an easement to the City of Gilroy for the purposes and on
the terms and conditions set forth in said Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Gilroy Unified
School District does hereby grant authorization for the Secretary of the Board of Education to
execute a grant deed to convey certain easements to the City of Gilroy in real property described
in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof for the purposes and on the terms_and
conditions described in said Exhibit A;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the public hearing on the questions of this
dedication was held on March 15,2001 at the regular meeting ofthe Board of Education and
notice of said time and place and this resolution was posted in three public places in the District
and was published once not less than ten days before said Board meeting.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of March, 2001 by the Board of Education of the
Gilroy Unified School District of Santa Clara County by the following vote:
AYES: Gurich, Martinez, Rodriquez, Rogers, Rosso and Kraemer
NOES: None
ABSENT: Owens
ABSTAIN: None
