Easement to be Conveyed
to the City of Gilroy
All that certain real property situate in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of
California, being an easement for roadway purposes and the installation and
maintenance of public service facilities under, on or over those certain parcels of land
described as follows:
PARCEL A
Being a strip of land of a uniform width of 20.00 feet, the Southerly line of which is
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Westerly line of Morey Avenue (40.00 feet wide) as
shown on the Map of the Survey and of the Estate of Perry Dowdy, filed for record in
Book I of Maps at page 143, Santa Clara County Records; said point being N4055'54"E
3.00 feet from the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Lot C as shown on said
Perry Dowdy Subdivision; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along a line
parallel with and distant 3.00 feet Northerly of the Northerly line of above said Lot C
N89045'15"W 2,346.25 feet to a point in the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line
of said Lot C, and being the terminal point of the Southerly line herein being described.
Said easement is bounded on the East by the Westerly line of above said Morey Avenue
(40.00 feet wide) and on the West by the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line of
above said Lot C.
PARCEL B
Being a strip of land of a uniform width of 70.00 feet, the centerline of which is
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwesterly corner of Lot C as shown on the Map of the Survey
and of the Estate of Perry Dowdy, filed for Record in Book I of Maps at page 143, Santa
Clara County Records; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING along the Westerly
prolongation of the Northerly line of said Lot C N89045'15"W 784.45 feet to the Easterly
terminus of the centerline of Sunrise Drive (70.00 feet wide) as shown on Tract No. 8867,
a map of which was filed for record in Book ~ 9/ of Maps, at pages -11 and l!L-,
Santa Clara County Records;
Said easement is bounded on the East by the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly
line of said Lot C, and on the West by an Easterly boundary line of said Tract No. 8867.
