No. 944, adopted by the Council of the City of Gilroy on the 6th
day of July, 1965, at a regular meeting of said Council, a certified
copy of which resolution is on record in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, in Book
7027, page 228, I, as said City Administrator, do hereby accept on

DESCRIPTION OF 40' WATERLINE EASEMENT TO BE GRANTED TO
CITY OF GILROY BY WESTERN FARMS INVESTMENT COMPANY
BEING an exclusive right of way for the installation and
maintenance of an underground water pipe line under, over,
on and across a strip of land 40.00 feet in width, the
centerline of which is more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of that
certain 28.56 acre tract of land described as
Parcel 1 in the Deed from Serafino Giretti and
Natalina Girette, his wife, to Serafino Giretti
and Natalina Giretti, his wife, as joint tenants,
dated February 26, 1940 and recorded March 23,
1940 in Book 974 at page 330, Official Records of
Santa Clara County, said point of beginning being
in the northerly line of Burchell Road, and running
thence along the northerly and easterly lines of
Burchell Road N.89037'E. 46.47 feet and S.0009'W.
159.92 feet to the northwesterly corner of the
30 acre tract distributed to Annie Lund by Decree
of Distribution, certified copy of which was recorded
May 26, 1922 in Book 554 of Deeds at page 186, Santa
Clara County Records; thence continuing along the
easterly side of Burchell Road S.0020'E. 1650.00 feet to
the southwesterly corner of the 30 acre tract of land
conveyed to Tony Avancina by Deed recorded July 25, 1949
in Volume 1822 at page 490, Official Records of Santa
Clara County; thence continuing along the easterly
side of Burchell Road S.0020'W. 534.81 feet, more or
less, to an angle point in said road where it turns
southeasterly; thence continuing along the north-
