Lands of Maxxum Management Company
to be Conveyed to the City of Gilroy
All that certain real property situate in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of
California, being an easement for the installation and maintenance of public storm
drainage facilities and appurtenances thereto under, upon or over that certain strip of
land of a uniform width of 20.00 feet, the Northerly and Westerly lines of which are
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Southerly line of that certain parcel of land conveyed to
Santa Clara Valley Water District, a public corporation, by deed recorded August 26,
1987 in Book K271 of Official Records at page 972, Santa Clara County Records; said
point being distant thereon N89 °58'05 "E 117.12 feet from the Westerly terminus of the
course shown as S89 °53'00 "W 1468.40 feet; thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING
along above said Southerly line S89 058'05 "W 117.12 feet; and along a tangent curve to
the right with a radius of 655.00 feet through a central angle of 15 °12'45" for an arc
length of 173.91 feet to the Westerly corner of said parcel conveyed to Santa Clara
Valley Water District; thence leaving said Southerly line along the Northerly line of Lot
D as shown on the Map of the Survey and of the Estate of Perry Dowdy, filed for record
in Book I of Maps at page 143, Santa Clara County Records, S89 °30'15 "W 289.89 feet to
the most Northeasterly corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to Santa Clara
Valley Water District, a public corporation, by deed recorded February 2, 1993 in Book
M610 of Official Records at page 262, Santa Clara County Records; thence leaving said
Northerly line of Lot D along the Southerly line of last said parcel conveyed to Santa
Clara Valley Water District S66 °51'17 "W 64.92 feet; and S89 030'15 "W 568.40 feet; thence
leaving last said Southerly line S00 °14'45 "W 148.01 feet to the terminal point of the
Northerly and Westerly lines herein being described.

This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by the grant deed dated
July 13, 1998 from Maxxum Management Company, to the City of Gilroy, a municipal
corporation of the State of California, is hereby accepted by the undersigned officer or agent on
behalf of the City of Gilroy pursuant to authority conferred by Resolution No. 97 -62 of the City
of Gilroy adopted December 1, 1997, a certified copy of which resolution is on record in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, document
