TRC Engineers - First Street Water Utility Improvements (2017) - Amendment No. 1AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN CITY OF GILROY AND TRC ENGINEERS, INC. FOR FIRST ST WATER UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 16-PW-217 DATED 10/23/2018 AMENDMENT NO.1 This Amendment shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, Project Manager, and Consultant. All copies forwarded to Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy will be returned to him as his authority to proceed with the work. This amendment is for covering the additional hours spent in performing public outreach services for the First Street Water Utility Improvements that were not included in the original scope. These services included attending construction meetings, translation of outreach materials to Spanish and hosting a community open house for the project in an amount not to exceed $38,000.00 This Amendment extends the term of the Agreement for Services between the City of Gilroy and TRC ENGINEERS, INC. dated December 3715C, 2018 to December 31', 2020 and allows for a three (3) percent escalation in labor rates for each annum of the contract. All requirements of the original Agreement Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by this Amendment. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this Amendment.
