Resolution No. 2021-05 | Amending FY20-21 Budget by $25,648 in the City's Measure B Fund, Fund 216 | Adopted 02/01/2021RESOLUTION NO. 2021-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 BUDGET BY $35,648 IN THE MEASURE B FUND AND APPROPRIATING THOSE FUNDS TO PROJECTS IDENTIFIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, and the City Council carefully examined, considered and adopted the same on June 3, 2019 ; and WHEREAS , City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council, in the staff report dated February 1, 2021 , a proposed amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021. The purpose of such amendment is to appropriate reimbursement grant funding in the amount of $35,648 from Measure B for bicycle and pedestrian education and encouragement activities ; and WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is satisfied with said budget amendments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT revenue and appropriations for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 in the City's Measure B Fund, Fund 216, and hereby increased by $35,648.
