Persons wishing to address the Council and Board Members are requested to complete a Speaker’s Card located at the entrances and handed to the City Clerk. Speakers are limited to 1 to 3 minutes each, varying at the Mayor’s discretion depending on the number of speakers and length of the agenda. DISCUSSION ITEMS 3.1. South Valley Middle School Reconstruction Projects (GUSD) GUSD staff will provide an update regarding the South Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project. 3.2. School Crossing Guards (City/GUSD) City and GUSD staff will discuss the school crossing guards. 3.3. GUSD Enrollment Update and Impacts on GUSD Budget (GUSD) Alvaro Meza, Assistant Superintendent/C.B.O., will provide an update on the District's enrollment, and the impact on the District's budget. 3.4. Community Development Activities (City) City staff will provide a summary of planned housing and commercial development activities within the city. 3.5. Economic Developmental Activities (City) City staff will provide an update on Economic Developments. 3.6. Renewal of School Resource Officers (SRO's) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (City/GUSD) Dr. Deborah Flores, Superintendent, will provide an update regarding the renewal MOU of the School Resource Officers (SRO's). 3.7. City News (Information Item) City Council Members will share news about the City. 3.8. GUSD News (Information Item) District Board Members will share news about the School District. 3.9. Future Agenda Items for 2023 (Information Item) Participants will identify potential agenda items for the next joint meeting. 4. ADJOURNMENT
