Resolution No. 2022-33 | Clean California Grant Project | Adopted 06/06/2022RESOLUTION NO. 2022-33 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CITY OF GILROY’S CLEAN CALIFORNIA GRANT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy is eligible to receive State funding for certain transportation related work through the California Department of Transportation; and WHEREAS, the Restricted Grant Agreement is needed to be executed with the California Department of Transportation before such funds can be claimed through the Clean California Local Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy wishes to delegate authorization to execute these agreements and any amendments thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Gilroy does hereby authorize the City Administrator, or designee, to execute all Restricted Grant Agreements and any amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation.
