1. Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Blankley at 6:00 PM.

2. STUDY SESSION
2.A. City Council Vision 2030, Mission, Goals and Workplan for Fiscal Years
2022 and 2023 (FY22 & FY23)
City Administrator Forbis gave staff presentation and responded to Council
Member questions.
Mayor Blankley opened public comment.
Steven Hayes, Gilroy Firefighter, expressed concerns over increase in
calls. He commented that Gilroy Fire Department is unreliable because
they can't meet their own call volume. He urged the Council to complete
Santa Teresa Station.
There being no further speakers, Mayor Blankley closed public comment.
Possible Action: Review, provide feedback and direction.
3. CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Faber announced the Closed Session item.
Mayor Blankley opened public comment.
There being no speakers, Mayor Blankley closed public comment.
A motion was made by Council Member Leroe-Muñoz, seconded by Council
Member Armendariz, to go into closed session. The motion was unanimous.
3.A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL-EXISTING LITIGATION;
Paragraph (1) of Subdivision (d) of 54956.9 and GCC Section

January 22, 2020:
There was no reportable action.
4. Adjournment
Mayor Blankley adjourned the meeting at 8:19 p.m.
