CODE 27361.6 NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF COMPLETION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, as of the 7th day of December, 2020, the City of Gilroy, California ("City") has accepted as completed the work required to be performed under the following agreement ("Agreement") by and between Monterey Peninsula Engineering ("Contractor") and City: First Street (State Route 152) Water Utility Improvements Project No. 16-PW-217 Monterey Peninsula Engineering Project No.: 16-PW-217 Contractor Name: Monterey Peninsula Engineering Contractor Address: 192 Healy Avenue, Marina, CA 93933 Surety on Contract: The Continental Insurance Company Location of Project: Gilroy, California Description of Work: The project consisted of installation of new water mains, valves, fire hydrants, tie-in of new mains to existing mains, replacement of service laterals up to existing water meters, and replacement of water meters and water meter boxes where appropriate. The new mains were installed, tested, and ready for use in accordance with the project plans and specifications, including 8,050 linear feet of 24-inch pipe along First Street from Santa Teresa Boulevard to Monterey Street, and the abandonment of approximately 800 linear feet of 6-inch pipe along Monterey Road from Leavesley Road to Howson Street and the transfer of services to a newer, parallel 12-inch pipe along Monterey Road.
