Persons wishing to address the Council are requested, but not required, to complete a Speaker’s Card located at the entrances. Public testimony is subject to reasonable regulations, including but not limited to time r estrictions for each individual speaker. A minimum of 12 copies of materials should be provided to the City Clerk f or distribution to the Council and Staff. Please limit your comments to 3 minutes. The amount of time allowed per speaker may vary at the Mayor’s discretion depending on the number of speakers and length of the agenda. Acceptance of the 2022 Title II Board of State and Community Corrections Three-Year Grant Award in the Amount of $1,049,952 to Support Delinquency Prevention and Juvenile Justice System Improvement and Adopt a Resolution Amending the Fiscal Year 2023 Operating Budget by $349,984 1. Possible Action: a) Authorize acceptance of a three-year Title II grant award in the amount of $1,049,952 from the California Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC), and authorize the City Administrator to execute all grant agreements and related documents; and b) Adopt a resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Operating Budget in the amount of $349,984, appropriating the first year of the Title II grant funds and c) Adopt a resolution of the City Council of the City of Gilroy accepting grant funds and designating certain positions as agents for the City of Gilroy’s application for, and administration of, funding from the Board of State and Community Corrections. 10.
