ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE BY THE GILROY CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gilroy, on Monday, June 19,
2023, passed and adopted the following ordinance: Ordinance No. 2023-06
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING GILROY
CROSSINGS PHASE II COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (C3-
HC-M2 PUD) ZONE DISTRICT FOR THE GILROY SQUARE PROJECT CONSISTING OF 10.18
ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6970 CAMINO ARROYO, APN: APN 841-70-049 (FILE
NUMBER Z 22-02)
The ordinance was approved by the following roll call vote:
AYES: 6 Mayor Blankley, Vice Mayor Bracco, and Council Members Armendariz,
Cline, Marques, and Tovar
NOES: 0 None
ABSTAIN: 0 None
ABSENT: 1 Council Member Hilton
NOTE: The ordinance is effective 30 days from the date of adoption.
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: This ordinance amends the Shopping Center
Commercial/Highway Commercial/General Industrial Planned Unit Development Overlay zone
district (C3-HC-M2/PUD) for the subject property in order to establish the allowed commercial and
industrial land uses and standards for development of the site, as required pursuant to Gilroy City
Code Section 30.50.50 and in accordance with Article LII.

ordinance. A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is available for public review
