SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: This Ordinance adds a new Chapter, 16 B - Sidewalk Vending, to the Gilroy City Code and provides the permit requirements and standards necessary for mobile or stationary vending on public pathways, sidewalks, or parks in the City. Reading the entire ordinance is necessary to obtain a full understanding of the provisions of this ordinance. A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance will be available for public review in the Office of the City Clerk at Gilroy City Hall, 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, CA, by Thursday, August 3, 2023. The public hearing will be broadcast live on the City of Gilroy’s website at www.cityofgilroy.org. Individuals who are unable to attend the hearing may submit written comments by email to the City Clerk at publiccomments@cityofgilroy.org. All written comments must be submitted prior to or at the public hearing to be included in the record.
