NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Gilroy City Council will hold a public hearing on
Monday, October 2, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the item can be heard. The
meeting will be held in person at Gilroy City Hall Council Chambers, located at 7351 Rosanna
Street Gilroy, CA, on the following:

Project Title: Gilroy Crossing
Project Applicant: Raider Hill Advisors, c/o Elan Sippel-Feldman

Project Location: 6955 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy Ca 95020 (aka, Gilroy Crossing)

Project Description: Proposed tentative map to subdivide two developed commercial parcels
totaling 21.36+/- acres into seven parcels ranging from 0.94 acres to 6.24 acres. The parcels are
currently developed as part of the Gilroy Crossing shopping center; no new construction is
proposed.
CEQA Determination: The proposed subdivision is exempt from further environmental review by
State CEQA Guidelines section 15061 (b), the “common sense” exemption, because it can be
seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant
effect on the environment.
Planning Commission Recommendation: On September 7, 2023, the Planning Commission
reviewed the project and recommended approval of Tentative Map application TM 23-01 by a
vote of 6-0-1.
A detailed description of the proposal is on file with the Community Development Department at
City Hall. The staff report for the proposal may also be viewed on the City website
(www.cityofgilroy.org) by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the meeting. Interested parties are
encouraged to attend this public hearing as this is the time and place when comments on the
proposals shall be heard and given due consideration.
The meeting will also be broadcast live on the City of Gilroy’s website at www.cityofgilroy.org.
Persons who are unable to attend this public hearing may submit written comments by email to
the project planner noted below, or by delivering them to the Planning Division at City Hall, 7351
Rosanna St. Gilroy, CA. 95020 prior to, or at the public hearing to be incorporated into the record.
If you challenge the decisions at this hearing, you may be limited to raising only those issues you
