SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: The proposed ordinance aims to align the Gilroy City Code with recent legislative changes to the California Public Records Act (CPRA). Specifically, it seeks to amend Chapters 17A and 24 of the City Code by updating references to CPRA codes, which were reorganized and renumbered under the CPRA Recodification Act (AB 473) in 2021.
