I grew up in Gilroy and spent my formative years in the mountains of Henry Coe and Santa
Cruz riding mountain bikes. When I return to Gilroy, where my parents have lived for the last
30 years, I see a community that would benefit from more outdoor recreation opportunities.
The adventure park and partnership with Select Contracts is a guaranteed success that will
bring economic growth and opportunity to the city in a positive way.
I have visited many bike parks around the country and they all create a great sense of
community that gets kids off phones and tablets and into the mountains. I can't recommend
this opportunity for Gilroy enough.
