The Mayor and Common Uounail of the City of Gilroy do ordain as follows,

towit:
-Section 1. That paragraph "G" of Section Vo.340 of Article III of
Chapter II of Part III of the '.unicipal Code of the City of Gilroy, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follow;, towit:
"(g) No license issued hereunder shall be assignable or transferrable,
or shall authorize any person or persons, firm or corporation, other than the
ligensee named therein, to do business, or to authorize business to bo done
at any time, place or building, other than the time, place or building speei.
fied in said license, unless the consent of the Ma,yornand Common Council for
said assignment and transfer of license, or change of place of business be
first obtained. Every license issued under the provisions of this section
shall spegify,by name, the person or persons, firm or corporation to whom it
is issued, and the place and building in which the business for which it is
issued is to be carried on, and also the date of its issuance, the term for
which it is issued, and a description of the business to be carried on there-
under. The said license must at all times be kept posted in a conspicious
place in the place of business authorized to be maintained or conducted there.

Secstion.2. All ordinances 6r parts of ordinances in conflict with any
of the provisions of this ordinaaao are hereby repealed.
Seotion�. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from: and
