The Mayor and eonmion council of the City of Milroy do ordain as follows:
Sec. 1. That Section No. 314 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Gilroy, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows, towit:
"Section 314. For each laundry or wash house or other place of
business where washing and ironing of any clothing is done for the pub-
lic, the sum of $10.00 per annum, payable in advance4 And for each person,
firm, or corporation soliciting business for the laundrying or cleaning
of any clothing, or maintaining of anu agency for such business, and having
its place of business elsewhere than in the City of Gilroy, the sum of
125 per annum, payable in advance, and no license shall be issued under
thisseetion for less than one year."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
any of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on and
after its passage and approval.
