AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TIU, 1,IU 1ICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GILROY BT .ADDING
A NEW SECTION THERETO LIMITING THE RAT'S OF SPEED OF AUTOMOBLIES AND
OTHER MOTOR VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY LIMIT'S.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do ordain ad follows`
towit:
Section 1. That the ManUipal Code of the City of Gilroy be and
the same is hereby amended by adding a new section thereto, said section
to be numbered 417 and read as follows, towit:
"Sea. 417.. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate an
automoblie or other motor vehicle on a public street or highway within
the city at a greater rite of speed than one mile in four minutes."
Section 2. All ordinaLces or parts of ordinances in conflict with
any of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its
