An Ordinance amending the Municipal Code of the City of
Gilroy by adding thereto a new section relative to the
compensation of the Chief of the Fire Department,
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do ordain
as follows; to -wit:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy
be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new seo--
tion to be known as Section 224a, to read as follows:
224a The Chief of the Fire Department shall
receive as compensation for his services such salary, payable
from the general funds of the City, as shall be fixed, by re-
solution adopted by the Council.
Sec, 2, This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage and approval.
