AN ORDINANCE AP23i11DING SECTION 410 OF THE IMITICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GILRC)Y,,i RELATIVE TO LEAVING VEHICLES STANDING ON THE STiUETS OF THE CITY OF GILROY AND PROHIBITING THE HITCHING OF HORSES AND OTHER ANII ALS TO Flit; HYDRiMS, LAMP PO STS AND ELECTRIC LIGHT STANDARDS. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy, do ordain as follows: Section I. That Section 410 of the HrLmicipal Code of the City of Gilroy he amended to read as follows: Section 410: No person shall allow any wagon, cart or vehicle under his control, or in his custody to remain or stand for any length of time greater than two hours in front of any store, dwelling, or other building in the City of Gilroy without first having obtained the consent of the owner or occupant thereof. No person shall hitch or tie any horse or animal to any fire hydrant, lamp post, or electric light standard in the City of Gilroy, or permit any vehicle of any,kind to stand on any street within fifteen feet of the curb line of any intersecting street, or within fifteen feet of any fire hydrant. Section II/ All Ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section III. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
