ORDINANCE NO. J 2 ~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 305 OF THE CITY OF
GILROY BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 6-a
PROVIDING FOR THE PROCURING OF A PE~IIT SO TO DO BEFORE LAYING OR CON-
STRUCTING PAVEMENTS, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS IN THE VITY OF GILROY.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do
ordain as follows:
That Ordinance No. a05 of the City of Gilroy be, and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section to be known
as Section 6-a, which Section shall read as follows:
Section 6-a:
1. Be~ore laying or constructing any pavement, side-
walk or curb on any public street, highway or alley in the City of
Gilroy, the owner of the property in ~ront of which said pavement,
sidewalk or curb is to be. laid or constructed, must secure from the
City Marshal, who is Street Commissioner and Superintendent of
Streets, a permit so to do.
2. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances of the
City o~ Gilroy conrlicting herewith are hereby repealed.

from and arter its passage and appr~~.
