AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 375 OF THE CITY/OF
GILROY, BEING AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE REMOVAL OF ALL POLES
SUPPORTING WIRES USED IN CONDUCTING ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER
AND ALL POLES SUPPORTING WIRES USED FOR TELEPHONE AND TELE-
GRAPH PURPOSES FROM MONTEREY S'fREET IN THE CITY OF GILROY, BE-
TWEEN THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF MARTIN LANE (ALSO KNOWN AS 1. O. O. F.
AVENUE), PROLONGATED WESTERLY ACROSS MONTEREY STREET, ,AND THE
SOUTHERLY LINE OF THE LEAVESLEY ROAD PROLONGATED WESTERLY ACROSS
MONTEREY STREET.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do or-
dain as follows:-
Section :I.
Ordinance No. 375 of the City of Gilroy, being an ordinance
directing the removal of all poles supporting wires used in con-
ducting electric light and power and all poles supporting wires
used for telephone and telegraph purposes from Monterey Street
in the City of Gilroy, between the Southerly line of Martin Lane
(also known as I. O. O. F. Avenue), prolongated Westerly across
Monterey Street, and the Southerly line of the Leavesley Road pro
longated Westerly across Monterey Street, is hereby repealed.
Section II.
This ord:inanoe shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approvq~~, I q 3 :2.
